Student Photography

This is work from our talented Photography Students! They worked very hard first semester to produce some wonderful pieces. Thanks to their enthusiasm, we have had a tremendous jump in enrollment in this course for next year. At current count we are expecting almost 50 students. Last year was the first year for the course. With this enthusiasm for the arts and photography we will be looking at including a Photography and Graphic Design II course for the following year! Fantastic!

O.K. I will try this blogging thing again...I never remember my password!

As I was watching the video, I was really impressed with the creativity and quality of your students work, then I put on my Transformed School Counselor hat and really started thinking...
Your assignments encourage the students to look at everyday things from a new perspective, find the beauty in everyday things, and appreciate the details of their surroundings...these are all skills your students can and should apply in their studies and their daily lives...Awesome Job Mrs. Phegley!!!

What a beautiful collection! Thank you, Carrieann, for inspiring our students to find such beauty in their surroundings. So often we hear our student's negative comments about their small community - I'm sure you experienced excitement in your classroom as the students returned with pride in their findings and the work they produced to capture it!

Thanks again, Carrieann!
